Sandy Angliss

Sandy (born 1960, Mordialloc) has been exploring art, colour and ideas since she was a young child. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions since 1984. Sandy is an artist, art teacher, art therapist and disability support worker. She was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting and Printmaking) from RMIT, 1988. She is also a trained P-12 Art Education Teacher (Melbourne University 1991, Deakin University 2001) with over 35 years teaching experience in Primary and Secondary schools, special schools, hospitals, community centres and art colleges in Australia and Malaysia. She has enjoyed teaching art to young children, teens and adults. Sandy joined DRAC (Daylesford Regional Arts Cooperative) in 2021. She specialises in colourful paintings, fine art prints and collages, which reflect her love of nature. Through her work as Secretary of INWAC (since 1999) and then the International Women Artists Federation (since 2018) Sandy has co-organised and exhibited in International Women's Exhibitions in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand,UK, USA,Vietnam. She has also exhibited in Indonesia, Myanmar and Mauritius. Sandy's artworks are collected privately, in art galleries and schools, in Australia and internationally (Malaysia and Mongolia).
