Debbi Dorey

Debbi grew up in Williamstown, Melbourne with Irish parents who migrated here in 1962. “My dad was always taking photos, making home movies and singing, so naturally we are all creative in one way or another. It’s been the same with my kids and grandkids”. “I’ve loved capturing moments with my camera since maybe 6 years old. Since moving to the Central Highlands in 2019, I’ve continued to take photos but I have also taken up painting, experimenting with acrylic and resin, which I’m loving. I have no formal art qualifications, I just follow my intuition mostly”.
