DAYLESFORD REGIONAL ARTS CO-OPERATIVE
Membership Guidelines
Daylesford Regional Arts Co-operative (DRAC) is a resident-led initiative formed to support local artists and create opportunities to show their work. Members are required to reside in the Hepburn Shire and be at least 18 years of age .
A membership fee of $75.00 is payable by all members. Membership fees are paid annually and fall due on 1 July each year. A pro rata amount will be applied for members joining part-way through a financial year.

Members shall not conduct themselves in a manner which brings DRAC into disrepute. They will conduct themselves with honesty, integrity and in a manner which is mindful of the health and wellbeing of others. Their behaviour will be consistent with DRAC’s core tenets of inclusion, tolerance and acceptance.

Members are not excluded from belonging to other groups or exhibiting and/or selling their work outside DRAC.
It is expected that members be actively engaged with their art, producing new work on a regular basis.
Exhibitions and popups are held periodically and open to all members. It is not mandatory for members to exhibit works in these events.
Exhibiting members are expected to volunteer for a roster to setup and dismantle exhibitions and popups, as well as manning these events. Dealing with the public and processing sales of artworks are an integral part of manning exhibitions and popups.
Members are also expected to attend DRAC meetings to contribute ideas and vote on motions.
As part of the membership application process, an applicant shall provide a biography (bio) and artist’s image for their DRAC website portfolio. The bio should be no more than 100 words in length and include, but not be limited to: experience, style, inspiration and aspirations. Ideally, the artist’s image should show head and shoulders.
Applicants are also required to upload up to 8 images of their artwork. These images will be included on the DRAC website, as part of the member’s portfolio, once their application is endorsed by the DRAC committee. The images should be representative of the member’s work.
Images must be of a size and quality that maintains the professional standard of the DRAC website. They will be a minimum of 1000 px on the long side at 72 dpi with a maximum file size of 3 MB.

Images and bios provided by members may be used by DRAC on its website, in social and print media and on third party booking platforms (eg. Eventbrite) for the promotion of DRAC, it’s exhibitions and popups. Data provided by members will not be used for any other purpose without their consent.
By submitting the DRAC Application For Membership form, members acknowledge and agree to be bound by the provisions of these guidelines.
