Irene Holub

Irene Holub, a Deaf CALD artist, filmmaker, and director, draws from her experiences navigating a hearing world to explore human connections and communication. Passionate about self-expression and collaboration, she champions Deaf Arts and Auslan, serving on boards like Arts Access Victoria and Deaf Australia. Irene leads engaging Auslan Art Tours and workshops at galleries like Ballarat and Bendigo, and co-founded the FLOW Festival, a celebrated Deaf-led event showcasing innovative Deaf Arts. Her work highlights the richness of diverse communication and fosters deeper understanding of Deaf culture and artistry.
